Look... Who is Walking!!

Naomi has been practising her walking skill for the past 1 week and is getting better at it everyday. Finally managed to pull herself up today. (But there are still moments when she felt lazy to do so and will stretched out her arms for help). She got so excited about it that she will clap her hands happily when she managed to do it =D What an achievement! Mommy will try her best to video her pulling herself up. Hopefully by this weekend..Hmmmmm

Banana = 'Ah Ma' ????

'Ah Ma'.. this is what you will get if you teach this Little Princess the word 'Banana'. Mommy has been trying to teach this little gal with three syllabus words, starting with her favourite fruit .. BANANA.

This evening when Naomi had her shower, we practice the word BANANA again. This time, when Naomi knew she got it wrong, she will giggle away, hit the water hard and to create a 'mini tsunami'. Indeed, we had a fun time!!!

After many months of speculating, finally little two pearlies 'sprout' from Princess's lower gum early this week. Naomi got her little two front lower milk teeth and it's growing 'bigger' everyday. Mommy had a hard time trying to take the best picture of her pearlies cos she will just keep her mouth shut as she knows what Mommy is up to.

Naomi no longer is the 'bor geh' baby..a different look now....though Mommy still miss her' bor geh' days..

A Casual Weekend

Naomi attended Ethan's 1st Bday BBQ on Sat. It was a sunny day and Naomi was 'melting' like ice-cream under the hot afternoon sun despite the shelter. We did'nt stay on at the BBQ pit for long. Thankfully, Ethan cut his cake fast and off we headed up to the apartment for some real cold aircon. This little gal enjoyed herself, played along with all the little friends. Think it's Ethan who is shy baby this time.. kept looking at Naomi in a daze whenever she tried to play with him..

We headed off to Taka Baby Sale on Sunday with GuGu and Aunty Sher. Bought Naomi's daily essentials and one other item which is out of the list...A Mickey Mouse Story Book that Naomi kept holding on to it happily. Well, her wish was granted. Mommy paid for them and off we go to MOS burger for a quick lunch fix. This little girl went totally knocked out once we hopped into the car heading for home. FYI, she had been trying hard not to fall asleep (despite how heavy her eye lids were) since the moment we heading for Orchard.. Hee...

Happiest 13mth Month!!

Princess turned 13 mths today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRINCESS!!! Little Naomi learnt a new pronouncation today.. GONG GONG!! All of us were shocked hearing it. It was really loud and clear. When u ask her, 'Naomi, where is kaka (insect)?', she will go pointing at the floor trap in the kitchen. Reallly cute when u see her pointing with her little index finger.



She is learning well everyday. Besides the words that she mastered earlier, she is beginning to recognise more words in the flashcards. When she sees the word, smiling = she will smile back, clapping = she will clap with her hands, head = she will point her head, see an apple on the card = she will say out apple. Her favourite song = twinkle twinkle little stars, she will go on doing the stars action. If u sing birthday song, she will go on clapping her hands as if u are singing for her. She loves waving goodbye..whenever she sees anything pass by her.. she will wave her hands happily.

Naomi's One Year Old Studio Shots Session

Naomi had her one year old photo taking session today. Thankfully, all went well despite 2 attempts to get her photo shot session done earlier. This little gal did so well, it was like a mini fashion show. Of cos, it's not easy to select her clothings. We finally settled with her white Gap bday dress, a princess dress which ku ku and Aunty Sher bought for her for their wedding and a little dark fushia top and denim shorts for her casual wear.









It's not an easy to task to make this gal smile when she is out of the house (fyi, dont' be cheated by her girlish look cos she can behave like boy at home)...so the little Barney toy (her favourite toy at moment) did the work and entertain her throughout the session. Ooooo.. Mommy sure remembered to bring along her biscuits! One little star biscuit in exchange for one Naomi's little grin. Even the photographer, Aunty Maryann, was teasing her away, 'Naomi is a greedy little piggy!'





One minor incident happened along the session. While Naomi was taking her solo picture in the rattan box, she was captivated by the screen and when she reached out for it, she lost her balance and fell sideway down onto the floor. This poor little girl cried badly. Not to worry, she was alrite and easy to pacify. All she need was to get a breather outside, got her a little pressie and she was back to her old form and continue with her shots happily.



The whole photo session worn her out.. she was in bed since 7.30pm ! The earliest record so far..... Well done for the photo session.. Little Naomi!!
