Happiest B'day.. Mama!!!

Missy had her 1st rehearsal cake sing ceremony on MaMa's b'day. She can sing, dance, blow and clap during the whole session and let's hope when it's her 'big day' in 2 weeks time, she will do as good.... fingers crossed....

I Can Do It.. By Myself.. Missy is 23 Months Now!

I am walking down alone!!


Missy is able to climb up and down the stairs by herself now. Yes, she turned 23 months and it is just one more month that she will be 2!! Time flies.. and very soon, she will be on her way to Nursery 1 on 4 Jan 2010. She is Mommy's big girl now.

Missy picked up new 'hobbies' recently. She loved dancing especially to her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 'Hotdog' song, loved to watch Barbie Movie and swayed along when Barbie starts to dance (she can repeatedly watched the same show over and over again within the same day), able to speak more mandarin whenever i taught her the chinese flashcard (and sing one chinese nursery rhythm), and not forgetting.. Missy loves to sing english nursery rhythm and is getting more cheeky everyday!!!


'I need that extra carbo to top up my energy level after the hardwork of climbing the staircase.. Any more bread left?'

Last Day of School Holiday Program

Today is the last day of Missy's holiday program in school. Indeed, we had a tiring but fun filled week. It's not easy to rush her to school at 8.30am, considering the amount of 'chores' Mommy had to do... shower her, get her ready, feed her breakfast, cook her lunch so it will be ready when we are back from class and of cos, running and catching her around the house and finally put her in car seat and off we head to school.. tough tough task.

Glad that we went for this week 1 program. Missy had her 1st big bus ride (she was a bit scared of it at 1st, but when the bus was on the go and the teachers sang songs, she got over with it and danced along to the music), oh yesh, her 1st bumber boat ride too! It was great fun, we sailed along the Singapore River and saw many Singapore Icons such as the Esplanade and the Merlion. Missy got a bit excited and started to ask Teacher Elizabeth,...'Where is the Merlion? after we went passed it. A bit pity that it drizzled a bit, therefore the plan picnic at Fort Canning was cancelled.. Sob..

The last class of the week ended off with a seaside picnic and play at East Coast Park, just behind the school compound. Weather was hot and Missy got a bit tired to run around and play. Poor Mommy got to pick her up and Missy just relaxed under the tree shade. A bit sentimental at the end cos we wouldn't be seeing some of Missy's classmates anymore next term.. like Elizabeth, Aiden, Amanda.. but the Mommy's had promised to plan more program for these kids like the coming 'Duck Tour'! Looking forward with excitement!!
