Fun Filled Days

Missy has been busy with activities for the past days. As a young toddler, she enjoys exploring new things around her. Gone were the days when she sits quietly munching away her snacks during her 'lesson time' or being a good gal staying at home on a hot afternoon.

On days when she is at home, she will walk around, play with 'weird' toys like pans lid, mugs, pots etc, kicking ball in the hall area, singing her favourite 'twinkle twinkle little stars (fyi: she is now humming to the tune and says .. 'how i wonder.. lalalalala....). So, it's time to bring her outdoor to enjoy the sunshine!!

Missy 19th Mth Bday!!

Happy B'day, our darling Missy! Missy turned 19mths! Missy is flooded with pressie this month, she got her drum where she can goes 'bong bong bong' with jack on play day, a circle sorter toy, a fish rod with fishes toy and a dress. Mommy must say this was an amazing month for Missy! She had indeed progressed so much over the past one month. Not only she could address people now, but she began to form sentences and able to count from number 1 to 10! Guess not many babies can do it at this tender age, but Missy did it!!

Though her sentences she formed were pretty basics but this was one that Mommy was amazed!

Missy could say: 'Humpty Dumpty sit on the wall!!' and she knows who Humpty is cos there is one Humpty icon for a firm at the junction near our place.. it's the Kingsmen ID firm. Whenever we passed by when we head out, Missy will point and says .. Humpty Dumpty.. Well, Mommy did read this nursery rhythm to her but guessed she picks it up from her collection of 'Wheels on the Bus' vcd.

Missy can do counting! Every time when we walked up or down the staircase in the house, Mommy and Missy will start to learn counting.. Mommy will start it off with 1, then she will follow up with the next number and the list will goes on and on till we reach number 10 and restart the number on our way. How amazing our little Missy is!!

1,2,3,GO!!

Missy has reached another milestone in her toddler's life of learning. She has mastered the skill of running without any coaching from the adults nor anything from the programs she has been watching. If there is anyone who wanted her to run, all you have to do is to say '1,2,3,Go' and she will run, giggling along on the way. The more you praise her running, the happier she is and she will keep running till Mommy got to chase her along the way in case she hits on the wall. A tiring exercise indeed! Missy enjoyed running so much that she will say out '1,2,3.. Go' by herself and run around her bedroom as she is running for a Gold Medal in an marathon =D A young athlete in the making....


Just happen to receive 2 pairs of animals sandals as pressies, just nice for her to run with!!!!

A Field Trip to the Fish Farm

This morning, all of us set off early to a morning trip to a fish farm at Lim Choa Kang. It's Missy 1st field trip and she was so excited that she did'nt even eat her breakfast! It was a straight 'NO' when Mommy tried to offer her favourite 'bun' on our journey. Missy was real excited and was given a bag of guppies to keep as 'pets'. As usual, Missy was so tired and fell asleep on Gong Gong's bus on our way back... she was completely worn out. A good way to start the day with...

Sweetest 18th Month!!

Happy 18th monthly b'day, Missy! This monthly celebration is a special one to Missy, having Daddy to celebrate this day together. We tried to get Missy a Barney cupcake from the bakery but unfortunately the character for this month cupcakes arethose with carbears, so we have to give it a miss. Instead, Missy had Daddy and Mommy to go to her favourite gym 'Go Go Bambini' and we all have a good exercising time together. Missy is getting more adventurous now, even challenge Mommy to get down to crawl on a swaying dog's tunnel which sets Mommy legs turning jellied. So this is one task for Daddy, to go and guide Missy while Mommy waited at the end.

Barney Ride

It's a shopping saturday for Missy. We headed to Vivo, hoping that Mommy will be able to find something nice for the coming CNY. Missy saw her favourite ride.. The Barney Car Ride! She sat on 'Barney Car Ride' and 'Bob,the Builder' but decided that she will pick Barney ride as her finally choice as we happily inserted her precious dollar coin into the slot.

As Barney car started to take off... Missy waved goodbye to BJ and Baby Bob and the song goes.. 'The Wheels on the Bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The Wheels on the Bus goes round and round, all way long...'.. Missy was swaying along to the rythm... LALALALALA....
