Last Day of School Holiday Program

Today is the last day of Missy's holiday program in school. Indeed, we had a tiring but fun filled week. It's not easy to rush her to school at 8.30am, considering the amount of 'chores' Mommy had to do... shower her, get her ready, feed her breakfast, cook her lunch so it will be ready when we are back from class and of cos, running and catching her around the house and finally put her in car seat and off we head to school.. tough tough task.

Glad that we went for this week 1 program. Missy had her 1st big bus ride (she was a bit scared of it at 1st, but when the bus was on the go and the teachers sang songs, she got over with it and danced along to the music), oh yesh, her 1st bumber boat ride too! It was great fun, we sailed along the Singapore River and saw many Singapore Icons such as the Esplanade and the Merlion. Missy got a bit excited and started to ask Teacher Elizabeth,...'Where is the Merlion? after we went passed it. A bit pity that it drizzled a bit, therefore the plan picnic at Fort Canning was cancelled.. Sob..

The last class of the week ended off with a seaside picnic and play at East Coast Park, just behind the school compound. Weather was hot and Missy got a bit tired to run around and play. Poor Mommy got to pick her up and Missy just relaxed under the tree shade. A bit sentimental at the end cos we wouldn't be seeing some of Missy's classmates anymore next term.. like Elizabeth, Aiden, Amanda.. but the Mommy's had promised to plan more program for these kids like the coming 'Duck Tour'! Looking forward with excitement!!

Missy Term II School Party!!

It's end of term school party! Mommy couldn't manage to get her any special costume this time round. But still Mommy dressed her up to the occasion. Missy wore a pink empire dress with a pink ribbon hairband.

YESH!! Finally she agreed to wear one without taking it off, or maybe vanity strike on her now as she is now much older to know 'how she wants to look pretty' or in another words, VAIN!!!

The party kicks off with lots of socialising time with the kids and the parents, loads of food as you can see from the picture how Missy enjoyed the session (secret: she was eyeing hard on the food for a long time!!). Of cos, not forgetting the 'graduation' ceremony where all the kids are given a folder with their artworks and teacher's comment for the term.

Loads of food, loads of laughter and joy.. That's a fun way to end the term and looking forward to term 3!! Before that, Missy will be attending her holiday 'camp' programme 'All Aboard!'.. Look out for her updates coming up soon!!

Finally It's 'Happy B'day, Mommy'....

Finally, Missy got it right today, it's 'Happy B'day, Mommy' and not 'Happy B'day, Barney'. We celebrated my 33rd b'day today but it felt more like it's Missy's b'day rather than Mommy's. We spend our day @ Suntec today. Missy had her hair trim for her end of term pary tomorrow, got a pretty pink hairband, ride her favourite Barney ride, got a huge 'Don' huge chicken pie and deliver it to Mama cos she told Mommy ' I want to see Mama' so off we go to Mama's office for a special delivery. These are the highlights of our day together......

Rock, Rock, Rock The 'Horse' - A 'Rocking' Star is Born!!

Missy has been having fun with the rocking reindeer she gotten from Daddy as her Xmas present. She has been calling it a 'horse' rather then a 'reindeer' despite the many times Mommy tried to correct her. So in the meantime, it shall be a 'horse' in her little eyes. But to Mommy's surprise, she did a self correction this afternoon by calling it a PONY!! Finally!!!! See the way she rocks her pony.. looks pretty dangerous!!

Princess is 22 Months.. She is Starting to ask Questions!!

This is the 'monthly birthday' princess on her 22nd month. She is off school today so we headed down to Tampiness Mall to get some groceries and for her to enjoy her Barney kiddy ride.

Fuss free day, we just enjoyed each other company despite during the whole 'grocery trip', Princess kept asking me.. 'What's that?' whenever she sees something interesting. That's her way of learning and exploring things around her.
