Get Well Soon.. Missy

The Beach Gal... (sorry not in bikini cos Mommy thinks the weather is so HOT and got her wear long sleeves to block out the sun)

Missy had fallen ill since last Saturday. The Paedia suggested that it might be some stomach flu but Mommy began to suspect its the rice that the helper steam. Past weekend was a stressful and tiring one both for Missy and Mommy. Missy started to threw up and diarrhoea on Friday evening after her dinner, on Saturday, threw out her morning milk feed. We quickly brought her to her Paedia despite there was a long que for about 3 hours. Being so sick, Missy didn't even have the energy to cry when she reached the clinic (which normally she will wept silently on her way in).

In the mean time, Missy has to keep clear of any diary product which means bye bye to 'Enfagrow' milk. Instead she was given 'Isomil' which is for lactose intolerant toddlers till she gets much better. Missy was all along not adventurous in her drink, so many times she rejected 'Isomil'. It's only tonight that she finally accepted it and drank that 100ml. Think is she milk crave she been craving.. so by having to drink it is a better alternative than noting to drink before bed.

Missy is getting much better today. She is able to keep her food down which Mommy felt so grateful about, and her appetite is slowly regaining back its power. Compared to days back, she had shown so much improvement. Please.. let the days of her being so weak and just sit down on the sofa looking tired passed.

Mommy know Missy still don't feel that perfect and loves to throw her 'tantrum'. Mommy been trying hard to curb my temper and be nice to Missy despite the um-times she wanted me to change her dvd from Barney to Hello Kitty to Barbie to Lion Dance. If Mommy do voice a bit louder at times, Missy, this is what i would like to let you know

'My precious, i am sorry cos i do feel you are not well and just feel so helpless but i have to keep constant watch on you to make sure you do at least eat and drink to regain back your health. It just make me sad to see that you are sick.... Mommy really hope your diarrhoea will stop by Tues so that you don't have to be admitted to A&E for dehydration...'

Nevertheless, Mommy can feel that Missy is regaining back her appetite and able to keep her food down tonight.....Missy is on her road to recovery!!! Wish her well soon...

Some pictures of Missy in class....(ie before she fallen sick the next day)

Classroom lesson been moved to outdoor with a picnic thrown in!!

Missy needs that energy boost before any playtime

Missy all geared up for sand play

This is the way Missy waters the sand.. errr

Missy and teacher Julia taking sea water for Missy to water sand.. yesh.. its sand..

'Mommy, can you let me concentrate on my play?'

hope your missy get well soon. I recalled Josiah ever had a bad diarrhea/vomitting too at the point he is quite close to dehydration. Luckily he drank juice (other than milk), so we stop giving him any kind of dairy product and in 3 days time everything back to normal.

Missy finally regain back her appetite, i am so greatful and happy about it. For the past few days, i m totally stressed out, fearing the 'dead line' given by the Paedia. Lucky the diarrhea stopped on Monday midday. Thnk Missy has lost a bit of weight during this period (
